Working with Datatrend, ECU deployed an IBM®Intelligent Cluster™solution with 96 compute cores (Intel®Xeon®5650 processors) in IBM BladeCenter® HS22 servers, and remote management from Gridcore.

This 2,000-square-foot facility also hosts hundreds of applications that are used by more than 300,000 IBM employees and provides a show-case for companies worldwide to view energy efficient technologies in action.

Working with SERVIWARE, HPC@LR deployed a hybrid supercomputer based on 84 IBM®System x® iDataPlex®dx360 M3 nodes, four IBM BladeCenter®QS22 blades and one BladeCenterPS702 Express blade

Acxiom created a cloud computing environment based on the high-performance IBM® eX5 enterprise portfolio, deploying new and existing customer environments on the IBM System x® 3850 X5 platform.

In partnership with IBM®, Capgemini built a fully integrated cloud delivery platform for clients in the UK and USA. Leveraging the IBM CloudBurst™ solution, the team designed a solution based on IBM BladeCenter® HS22V and IBM XIV® Storage System technologies, automated and monitored by IBM Tivoli® software.

Replaced multiple business systems and legacy infrastructure with SAP Business All-in-One following the SAP Fast Start Program, offering a preconfigured, preinstalled software and hardware solution based on IBM BladeCenter.

Prague Airport worked with AutoCont CZ, an IBM Premier Business Partner, to develop a complete infrastructure solution that included IBM servers, storage, and advanced virtualization technology. AutoCont CZ is a services and solutions provider and systems integrator located in the Czech Republic. The company provides services and solutions in three major focus areas: outsourcing and servicing, IT infrastructure, and business applications.

Pratibha Syntex deployed two IBM System x3650 servers running Microsoft Windows Server to support the main instance of SAP ERP. To run the SAP application servers, Pratibha Syntex deployed an IBM BladeCenter E chassis with seven blades. All of the servers use powerful and efficient Intel Xeon processors.

Futura International chose IBM to deliver the servers and storage required to meet the company’s need for high reliability at a low cost. Working with IBM Business Partner Dempsey Bluevar, Futura implemented IBM System x3850 M2 and IBM System x3650 enterprise servers, along with IBM System Storage™ N3600 SANs, in two data centers. The systems replaced legacy equipment that could not deliver the 99.999 percent reliability that Futura required.

Implemented a 250-node IBM System x® iDataPlex™ dx360 M2 running CentOS, populated with quad-core 3 GHz Intel®Xeon®E5472 processors, with 20 IBM SystemStorage™ DS3400 and 60 DS3300 systems, offering a total of 1 PB of storage.

As part of its corporate responsibility program, IBM Global Technology Services supplied a number of IBM solutions to the Chilean Red Cross,to provide the organization with a customized IT architecture. IBM set out to identify the principal needs of the organization and established that it required a robust server platform and specialist communication and collaboration software.

Working with IBM Business Partner Storyflex and IBM Deep Computing services, the Institute implemented two IBM iDataPlex racks of 84 IBM System x iDataPlex dx340 and65 IBM System x iDataPlex dx360 M2nodes running Linux, with IBM Rear Door Heat eXchanger units.

Acxiom implemented the IBM Systemx 3850 X5 Enterprise System with Intel®Xeon®processor 7500 series, exploiting the platform’s advanced virtualization workload capabilities.

Working with IBM Business Partner KFKI System Integration Ltd., the Hungarian Meteorological Service opted for an IBM solution that addressed the organization’s demanding requirements for both processing and storage. To handle intensive meteorological calculations, the organization implemented a 140-node IBM System x iDataPlex dx360 M2 solution running Red Hat Linux, and two IBM Power 520 Express servers running IBM AIX and virtualized with IBM PowerVM Express Edition technology.

IBM offered the expertise and the solutions to help Mamee Double Decker upgrade their SAP system from version R/3 4.6C to ERP 6.0, implemented on IBM System x3850 M2, x3650 and x3250 servers, powered by Intel Xeon series processors, running Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server to support SAP ERP applications including financials, controlling, materials management, sales and distribution, production planning, and quality management.

Latisys implemented an IBM System x®iDataPlex™ solution, providing extremely high compute density withina single rack footprint, using VMware ESX virtualization for multiple operating systems to provide total flexibility across its Web architecture.

Florida Tech worked with the IBM®Systems and Technology Group’s University Alliances Team, along with IBM Systems Lab Services and IBM Global Financing, to deploy an IBM System x®iDataPlex™ dx360 M2 running Red Hat Linux®.

The new cluster comprises 400 IBM® System x® iDataPlex™ dx360 M3 compute nodes with IBM Rear Door Heat eXchanger water cooling and Voltaire® Grid Director™ 4700 QDR InfiniBand switches in a HyperScale configuration.

The SAP ERP solution runs on five IBM System x3650 servers, with IBM System Storage TS3100 Tape Library Express providing backup, managed by IBM Tivoli Storage Manager and IBM Tivoli Continuous Data Protection for Files.
